Ekobot Selects Avassa Edge Platform for Secure Application Distribution and Monitoring of Autonomous Agricultural Robots

Ekobot AB, a precision agriculture solution provider, has recently signed an agreement with Avassa, a recognized edge application management platform provider, to utilize their Edge Platform for secure application monitoring and distribution to Ekobot’s fleet of autonomous agricultural robots. This agreement represents a significant step towards Ekobot’s goal of delivering efficient and reliable solutions for modern precision agriculture.

Today’s agriculture demands increased precision, availability, and continuous application monitoring. Modern software is integrated into an increasing number of machines, which creates new and high requirements for the lifecycle management of in-field applications. Software updates must be delivered swiftly and securely while offering end-users access to real-time information and monitoring capabilities for their agricultural machinery fleet.

Ekobot has implemented the Avassa Edge Platform to solve for robust, secure, and consistent monitoring and management of their agricultural robot application. Ekobot autonomous robots require fast and iterative updates, including regular updates of AI models to adapt to changing field conditions. Agricultural environments are dynamic and ever-changing and the machines must adjust daily to new circumstances.
